
Our History
D’Huy Engineering, Inc. (DEI) was established in 1976 by Mr. Gerard D’Huy as a structural design/ analysis and forensic engineering firm committed to the highest levels of excellence, integrity, communication and documentation. D’Huy’s first prominent project was the forensic investigation of the Yankee Stadium Collapse in 1979. The thoroughness and accuracy of DEI’s investigation launched the firm to national recognition.

Due to the ever-increasing diversity of our staff’s technical skills and extensive work experience, DEI provides services for a variety of applications and clients in the public and private sectors. DEI uses current state-of-the-art technology for structural analysis and design, building information modeling (BIM) and web based project management software. At DEI, our exceptional personnel treat each project as their own. We integrate technology with our passion, expertise, integrity, teamwork, leadership, and sound engineering judgment to deliver value to our clients.
