D’Huy Engineering, Inc. is experienced in the analysis and design of projects involving earth and water retaining systems, foundations and sea wall structures. Environmental and Civil Engineering firms as well as the Military sector rely on DEI for the design and development of retaining wall solutions. Our retaining wall projects range from soldier pile sheeting and shoring design for contractors in rural and urban areas to concrete and steel seawall structures for the Navy along the Atlantic Coastline. As dictated by specific project criteria, we have also provided our clients with foundation solutions using deep foundation systems consisting of wood timbers piles, steel mini-pile systems, and precast concrete piles in both land and water applications. Our experience in this area includes design of mat foundations and paving systems for resisting both static and dynamic loads associated with industrial equipment such as centrifuges, scrap metal shredders and machinery such as sheep’s foot compactors. Our expertise in this area includes evaluation of concrete floor slabs for commercial rack structures and fork truck loads and the design of ring wall and mat foundations for large steel tanks structures. |
