D’Huy Engineering, Inc. (DEI) has completed numerous successful stadium improvement and sports facility construction projects, both large and small. DEI has a wealth of knowledge and technical experience in the design and construction oversight of athletic fields and sports facilities. Our particular area of expertise is interrelated athletic facility improvements.

DEI is a leader in the planning, design and project management for the installation of natural/artificial turf athletic and recreational fields. One of the keys of our planning is the flexibility of the design so as to accommodate various multipurpose events. Our project management services help clients design and construct their athletic field projects to ensure a high level of performance and safe competition for the life of the field.

Our athletic facilities services include master planning and feasibility studies, development of construction documents, value engineering, cost estimating, and construction oversight. We also have working, first-hand knowledge of the various regulatory, municipal and state approvals for land development to help make your project a success.

We have a long and successful track record of completing athletic facilities within the budget constraints of our clients while exceeding their expectations for life span and low maintenance. Our experience with indoor and outdoor athletic facilities includes gymnasiums, natatoriums, stadiums, natural turf fields, synthetic turf fields and tracks.

D'Huy Engineering, Inc. has been partnering with Northampton Area School District (NASD) since 2000.

The Pocono Mountain School District retained D’Huy Engineering to perform a feasibility study to investigate the possibility of installing multi-sport synthetic turf athletic surfaces at each of its high schools.

D'Huy Engineering assisted the Pennridge School District by managing and implementing the new high school stadium upgrades that were developed through the District’s master plan.
In 2012, D’Huy Engineering, Inc. provided construction administration services to complete a $98 million Upper Dublin High School addition and renovation project.
D’Huy Engineering, Inc. was initially hired by Penn State University’s Berks Campus in 2008 to complete a feasibility study for the design of an athletic facilities campus, and then in Fall 2012, a study for the campus’s synthetic turf field and athletic... (Read more)
In 2013, D’Huy Engineering, Inc. was hired by Penn State University (PSU) to design an athletic facilities campus at the Penn State Worthington Scranton campus that met both ADA accessibility and PSU safety standards.

After eleven years as the primary playing surface for Bethlehem Area School District, the synthetic turf field was ready for a replacement.

The design and installation of a new synthetic field at Andrew S. Leh Stadium was directed by the Nazareth Area School Board in 2006 after a feasibility study conducted by D’Huy Engineering, Inc.
