Positions may be based out of either our Headquarters in Bethlehem, PA or our Philadelphia Regional Office in Ambler, PA. CURRENT POSITION OPENINGS
Engineer-in-training or licensed professional structural engineers to perform a wide array of structural engineering projects for both public and private clients including renovations and repairs, forensic investigations, and heavy concrete/steel design. Candidates should possess a background working with diverse types of structural materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. Responsibilities for the position include preparation of construction drawings and specifications; detailing connections, supports and anchorage; collaborating with architects, other engineers and owners; and field investigations and inspections.
Licensed professional engineers or registered architects to assist with capital planning, design, bidding and construction management for public facilities (schools, fire stations, etc.). Ideally our project engineers would possess a multi-discipline understanding of building-related systems, including architectural details, electrical coordination, HVAC components and civil/structural interfaces. Candidates must have experience with multi-prime construction in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and preparing construction specifications including front end documents, bid forms, and technical specifications. Regular local travel (within a 2 hour drive) to clients or project sites is likely.
WATER/WASTEWATER DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER
Professional Engineer with a background in the planning, design, bidding and construction of water-related infrastructure. Typical projects include pump station upgrades and renovations, process equipment replacements or refurbishment and multi-discipline design of miscellaneous renovations and additions to existing buildings. Responsibilities for the position include preparation of construction drawings and specifications, reviewing design calculations, field investigations and inspections during both design and construction and maintaining project budgets and schedules.
Licensed professional electrical engineer possessing a background designing and implementing electrical and instrumentation systems for diverse types of projects. An ideal candidate has complete understanding of capital project delivery, including capital planning, design, construction and commissioning. Job responsibilities include design of basic electrical systems, constructability review of large design packages and field assistance with construction administration and commissioning. Ability to serve as a project manager in addition to just electrical work would be a great benefit.
ENTRY LEVEL ENGINEERS
Recent graduates possessing Engineer-in-Training certification and looking to build a career delivering capital projects in both the public and private sectors. Typical engineering degrees include civil, structural, mechanical and environmental. Professional or personal experience with construction projects is a definite benefit. Ability and desire to take on a full-time onsite assignment during construction projects at some point during your first five years is expected.
